Qualifications and Experience
· Masters of Education
· Minimum of five years teaching experience
Desirable Qualities
· Knowledge of and teaching experience using best practices in numeracy and French second language education – wide variety of recent Professional Learning experiences, as a participant and facilitator.
· Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation, with a focus on numeracy and French second language.
· Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with professional staff.
· Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops.
· Ability to work as a team member.
· Administrative and/or leadership experience.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Written and spoken competence in English and French is essential.
