ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR OCTOBER 9th
Math door is off limits until the construction is complete.  This is a safety issue:  students please STOP using this door!
GUIDANCE:
A St. Thomas University graduate and admission counsellor will be here tomorrow, October 10th to talk about Canada’s only university of its kind – a publicly funded institution exclusively dedicated to the study of liberal arts, specializing in the undergraduate study of humanities and social sciences and small class sizes that have an average of 26 students.
The presentation will take place in the workroom, period 4 tomorrow.  You must have your teacher’s permission to attend.
NIGHT WATCH:
Tickets are now available for the fall play, Night Watch.  Night Watch is a murder mystery that hits the KVHS stage on October 22, 23 & 24th.  Tickets are $10, and are available in the library, the office, or from any member of the cast.  Please come out and support the KVHS theatre program!
Attention cast of Night Watch: please meet Mr. Sutton on the blocks following announcements this morning.
GRADUATES:
Baby pictures are now being collected for the Yearbook.  Please email a digital copy to the yearbook email (KVHSyearbookstaff132@gmail.com).  Deadline is November 1st.
YEARBOOKS:
Yearbooks are available for purchase on line at Jostens.com and also on Cashless Schools.  Our Back to school special has been extended until October 18th.  The special includes free personalization and icons with your purchase of a Yearbook for $55.
 
RENAISSANCE:
Could all members of Renaissance please meet tomorrow- Thursday, October 10th at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, room 136.  New members are always welcome!
ME TO WE:
There will be a very important Me to We meeting this Friday at lunch in room 005.  All members traveling to We Day MUST be in attendance.
CYBERTITAN:
There will be a Cybertitan practice tomorrow at lunch in room 285
SPORTS:
The JV Boys soccer team defeated St. Mac’s last night 5-0.  The boys finished the season with a perfect 10 wins and 0 losses record!  Congratulations boys!  Next up is Regionals on October 19th.
 
Congratulations to the cross country team on an outstanding performance this season!  A special shout out to Marin MacPherson for finishing first in Junior girls yesterday, and to Elijah Zwicker, Dallon MacDougall and Jay Driscoll who took the top three finishes for the Senior boys yesterday, solidifying an undefeated streak for the Senior boys this season.  Way to go team!  Good luck at regionals this weekend!
