ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR OCTOBER 10th

Math door is off limits until the construction is complete.  This is a safety issue:  students please STOP using this door!

GUIDANCE:

ARTS:

Students working on the art project need to meet in the art room today at lunch.

HEALTH:

The Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner is here from 8:45 until 11:30 every Thursday.

NIGHT WATCH:

Tickets are now available for the fall play, Night Watch.  Night Watch is a murder mystery that hits the KVHS stage on October 22, 23 & 24th.  Tickets are $10, and are available in the library, the office, or from any member of the cast.  Please come out and support the KVHS theatre program!

GRADUATES:

Baby pictures are now being collected for the Yearbook.  Please email a digital copy to the yearbook email (KVHSyearbookstaff132@gmail.com).  Deadline is November 1st.

YEARBOOKS:

Yearbooks are available for purchase on line at Jostens.com and also on Cashless Schools.  Our Back to school special has been extended until October 18th.  The special includes free personalization and icons with your purchase of a Yearbook for $55.

RENAISSANCE:

Could all members of Renaissance please meet today at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, room 136.  New members are always welcome!

ME TO WE:

There will be a very important Me to We meeting this Friday at lunch in room 005.  All members traveling to We Day MUST be in attendance.

CYBERTITAN:

There will be a Cybertitan practice today at lunch in room 285

GSA:

The GSA will meet in Mrs. Flower’s room, room 404, today at lunch.  New and returning members are welcome.

CONCERT BAND:

Concert band will be rehearsing today after school in the theatre.  Percussionists will not be required for this rehearsal.  Percussionists are not required to attend this week.  See you next Thursday.

PUMPKIN PATCH:

Could the following students lpease see Mrs. McCord today at lunmch in the Crusader center to receive your Pumpkin Patch assignments:

Camryn Fleet, Emma Creamer, Emma Burhoe, Emma Gould, Anna Morin, Kaleigh Wagner, Lia Leblanc-Harcourt, Jade Schicholone, Logan Marks, Kayli Yang, Maya Richards, Grace James.

FRIGHT NIGHT:

All students interested in the haunted house during Fright Night are asked to meet Mr. Morton in the fitness center at the beginning of lunch.

CHESS CLUB:

Chess Club is happening in room 230 again at lunch today!  Come on in.

 

SPORTS:

The first cut of the girl’s hockey team is posted outside of room 134, Mrs. Taylor’s room.

 

The varsity girls soccer lost a hard 3-1 battle for first place last night.  Goals scored by Kristen Hayward, as well, huge shout out to Laurence Fresh for playing a hard game with some unlucky bounces.

 

The varsity field hockey team finished their perfect regular season of 8 shut out wins with a 13-0 victory over St. Mac’s last night.  Larissa Neves and Alex Baumbach lead the scoring with hat tricks, and Olivia, Emily, Chloe, Megan, Kristin, Hannah, and Diggy each added one.

 

Congrats to the senior boys soccer team on their win over Simonds last night!  Goals were scored by Nick Ritchie, Christopher Voith, and Ayden Menard-Kelly!  Jackson McElmon made a great penalty shot save to let us hang on to the win!  The boys’ last game is tonight at 7pm – come out and cheer on our Crusaders!

 

Attention cross country runners, there will be a meeting during advisory this morning in room 414 for important information on regionals.  Ask your teacher for permission to attend.

 

Good luck to the cross country team this weekend at regionals!
