ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR OCTOBER 11th

Math door is off limits until the construction is complete.  This is a safety issue:  students please STOP using this door!

GUIDANCE:

A reminder that Loran Scholar’s Award applications are due to Mrs. Price by 3:30 pm today.  Please pass them in to Mme. Stevens, Mrs. Morrison or Mrs. Price.

ART:

Students working on the art project need to meet in the art room today at lunch.

VOTING:

Students and staff: Student vote is taking place Friday, October 18th during Advisory.  We will have an extended advisory that morning and no announcements.  Advisory teachers, please review the PowerPoint with your students.  It includes how to properly fill out a ballot, as well as videos and activities pertaining to democracy.

Wednesday October 16th during period 2, four local candidates will be here to discuss their party’s platforms.  Please sign up in the office if you want to bring your class.

NIGHT WATCH:

Tickets are now available for the fall play, Night Watch.  Night Watch is a murder mystery that hits the KVHS stage on October 22, 23 & 24th.  Tickets are $10, and are available in the library, the office, or from any member of the cast.  Please come out and support the KVHS theatre program!

TECH CREW:

All Tech Crew please come to see Mr. Dallon at the end of the announcements.

 

 

GRADUATES:

Baby pictures are now being collected for the Yearbook.  Please email a digital copy to the yearbook email (KVHSyearbookstaff132@gmail.com).  Deadline is November 1st.

YEARBOOKS:

Yearbooks are available for purchase on line at Jostens.com and also on Cashless Schools.  Our Back to school special has been extended until October 18th.  The special includes free personalization and icons with your purchase of a Yearbook for $55.

ME TO WE:

There will be a very important Me to We meeting today at lunch in room 005.  All members traveling to We Day MUST be in attendance.

PINK DAY:

Pink Day basket raffle tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Carpenter in room 306 in the Foods Lab at noon today, or during advisory. 

1 ticket is $1.00 or 3 tickets for $2.00

SPORTS:

The senior boys soccer team lost a tough game last night against Saint John High.  Our lone goal was scored by Jay Discoll.  Woohoo! Way to go Jay!!

 

Attention cross country runners, there will be a meeting during advisory this morning in room 414 for important information on regionals.  Ask your teacher for permission to attend.

 

Good luck to the cross country team this weekend at regionals!
