·         Wish your fellow rugby Red Hawks luck as the girls’ team heads off to St. Stephen to play a game and the boys’ team hit the road to head to Fundy High School.

·         Congratulations to all students who participated in the drama festival this past weekend.  Our three shows won 23 awards including six outstanding actors, 6 outstanding supporting actors.  Outstanding student director for Max Chapman.  Max Chapman also received on of the 3 awards for professional potential.  On top of that, our Red Hawks showed incredible support and team work for each other and other schools.

·         May 17 is International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.  To celebrate this, the Rothesay High School library has a several books on the LGBTQ theme on display.  Also, Tuesday at noon there will be face painting in the student lounge.  Drop by.

·         Yearbooks are on sale at the office or on Edline for $45.

·         Grade 12’s – Reminder to check the scholarship list on Edline, as new ones are still being added. 

·         For those of you going to Community College, the NBCC bursary forms are due back to Guidance on May 27th.

·         Tuesday, May 17th its ultra PJ day! Wear your PJ’s and bring in a pair of NEW PJ’s in support of the PJ project. The PJ project was started by a Rothesay High student named Katelyn Robarts. New PJ’s are collected and then donated to the IWK Children’s Hospital in Halifax. It is a good cause and a great way to show your support!

·         Do YOU have TALENT?  Come perform in the coffee House on May 26.  The sign-up sheet is on the Performing Arts bulletin board!!  Whooooooh!!!

·         Students aged 15 years and older – Horizon Health is looking for volunteers in the area hospitals.

See Mrs. Godwin for details.

 

·         A silver and red memory stick has been lost. If you have found one please turn it into the office!

·         A set of keys has been turned into the office from bus 644.  If they are yours, please drop by to claim them.
