Belleisle Regional High School Job Fest 2015

​Another successful year at Belleisle Regional High School Job Fest! Congratulations to the nearly 40 Grade 11 students who participated in the event.

 
In April, the Work Room Coordinator presented to the grade 11 English classes on resume writing, cover letters, job search, and job interview skills. English teachers and the Guidance Counsellor took the lead in overseeing job applications from each student, who chose from a selection of mock job postings in various industries such as retail, esthetics, landscaping, and child and youth care.  On May 4th and 5th, we had 8 volunteers (local employers and community members) come to the school to perform mock interviews on the students. Nearly every student was dressed to impress and the volunteers were extremely pleased with their performance!
 
Thank you to the school administration, guidance department, and teachers for their support and assistance with the event. A very special thank you to our volunteers, we could not do it without you. Congratulations to all students who, despite their nerves, made lasting positive impressions representing BRHS to the community.
