Announcements for Tuesday, September 20, 2016  
 
SPORTS
 
The Cross Country team will practice on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:50 – 3:50.
 
J.V. girls soccer tryouts continue today (Tuesday) from 5:30 – 7:00.
 
The Varsity boys soccer team will practice from 5:00 to 6:30 today.
 
The Varsity girls soccer team will practice from 4:00 to 5:00 and again on Thursday same time.
 
We’d like to celebrate Brad Gallant on defeating Mr. Long, 5 to 3 at Badminton Club last night.
 
Intermural Action - Grade 6 intermural starts today 6-Gallant vs 6-Page.

Shop Club starts today at the beginning of lunch break.  Bring your lunch to the shop for the eat and greet.
 
The Tech Lab is not open for computers on Tuesday or Fridays but will be open to heat up lunches and eat for the first half only.
 
Art Club Tuesdays at noon hour. Today - all Grade 8’s who are not finished their Harvest picture and anyone interested in our Art Club.
 
Picture day will be on Wednesday! Choose your outfit, comb your hair and wear your best smile!
 
Name that Tune!  Ballots are available on the bulletin board outside the office.  For you to suggest a song that can be played at the end of break drop the slip of paper into the yellow box on the office counter.  Today’s song was suggested by Will MacDougall – “It’s a Flashback to your Childhood”, Thomas the Tank Engine theme song.
 
Students who would like to volunteer for the Breakfast Program for this year, please see Miss Leach at break in the Library.
 
Miss Vahtra will pick up breakfast bowls after break.
