·        Due to overlap of sports seasons, this is a reminder to all Winter Sports athletes that all fall sports take precedence over any future hockey, wrestling and/or basketball tryouts.  There will be NO PENALTY for not being able to make a winter sport try out and/or other commitment as long as there is a direct fall sport conflict (ie. practice or game).  However, there will be consequences for attending a winter sport try out when there is a direct conflict with a fall sport try out.  Simply put, all fall sports are to come first.  This displays player commitment and loyalty to teams- a great characteristic for a player to have. Please know that all coaches have been given your schedules and team rosters and will not allow athletes to try out for Winter sports when a fall sport commitment is a direct conflict.  Thank you.  Submitted by Kris Jordan, B.PE, B.Ed
