·         Mount Allison presentation for today has been cancelled due to weather.  Mrs. Godwin will let you know when Mt. A reschedules.

·         There will be a yearbook group photo tomorrow, Friday, during homeroom.

·         Would EVERYONE who is interested in ski team (even if you haven’t paid!!) please come to room 127 at break.

·         There will be a dance session today at lunch for the girls for Leader of the Pack, and there will be one for the boys tomorrow at lunch in the cafeteria.

·         Reminder that there is an Open Arms meeting today at the second half of lunch in J. Smith’s room in the Portables.  If you don’t know where that is, it is the second portable to the left.  All are welcome!

·         UNBF/SJ rep is coming back to RHS Tuesday December 6th period 2.  This is for those Grade 12s who couldn’t make it last week or those we couldn’t fit in due to room being full.  Sign up at Guidance.  Permission from teachers is required.

·         Reminder that yearbooks are still on sale for $50.  You can buy them in the office or online on the Rothesay High website link.

·         Hey Redhawks!  It’s that time of year again!  Our snow day predictor challenge will be starting on December 1st and you can come down to the student lounge every day at break this week and pay $2 to bet on what day will be the first snow day.

·         November 25 – December 10 is 16 days of Orange the World, raising awareness for gender-based violence including domestic abuse, rape and child marriage.

 

·         Today’s Orange the World fact:  in 2011, 59 women were victims of spousal homicide, with 7 male victims, in Canada.

 

·         There will be a bake sale on December 6 to raise money for Christmas Shoeboxes for homeless shelters!  Today we are going to have orange day with cookie decorating at lunch to stand up against gendered violence.  $1.00 a cookie!

·         Tomorrow is the last day for the Allergy Friendly Food Drive!  Please try to avoid bringing in tree nuts however all food items will be accepted.  Thank you!
