KVHS Announcements    -    January 15, 2018
 
 
·       Attention advisory teachers, if you would like your advisory to be page numbers in the yearbook please send them to the yearbook room (in the math wing) on Tuesday, January 16th.
 
·       The sexual health nurse is here today in room 210 in the guidance area.  Text the number, sign up or walk in for an appointment.
 
·       AP Psychology semester 2 students are reminded of the seminar for chapter 2 to be held on Thursday of this week. Please report to room 402 for 3:40.
 
·       Student who need to write exams in an alternate location must sign up in the Crusader Centre this week.  Ask any of the resource teachers if you are not sure how to sign up. Thursday, January 18th is the last day to sign up.
 
·       There is a GSA meeting today in Mrs. Flower’s room 404 in the business wing.  New members are always welcome.
 
·       The junior boys’ basketball team beat Rothesay High on Sunday by a score of 82-55.  Way to go boys.
 
·       Good luck to the senior boys’ basketball team as they play Harbour View tonight at 7:15.
 
·       Good luck to the girl’s hockey team as they play Rothesay High tonight at 8:45.
 
·       The boy’s hockey team play against Sussex High School tomorrow night at 8pm at the Qplex.
 
·       There will be a meeting for the 2018 football program on Monday January 15 at 12:30 in room 274.
 
·       This Friday, January 19 will be a special day at KVHS called “Hats on for Justice”.  Students can pay $ 1 to get a red sticker to put on your hat so you can wear it for a day.  All proceeds will support Justice Mailman, a grade 9 student here at KV who wears a red hat every day because of his brain tumour.  It would be such an amazing sign of support to see our whole student body wearing red stickers and hats.  Save your money for this Friday – “Hats on for Justice Day”.
