· Grade 12 reminder: The deadline to apply for NBCC is coming up soon – November 1st. See Mrs. Godwin if you need help with your application. Submitted by P. Godwin

· There will be an Engineering Club meeting at 12:30 in Mr. Copeland’s lab. Submitted by Mr. Cook/Lauren Lavric
· Library will be closed today.
· In boy’s hockey last night at the Lord Beaverbrook, RHS defeated Harbour View High School by a score of 9-1. Goal scorers for RHS were Jared Kerr and Pat Barry with 2, and Alex Cormier, Colin MacDonald, Michael Roscoe, Malcolm Bujold, and MacKenzie Kelson with singles. Submitted by L. MacDonald
· Please be listening to announcements Today and Friday for the BRR read trivia questions for a chance to win 2 Sea Dog tickets to games on Dec. 7th and Dec. 18th. Bring your answer to the office by noon Thursday and Friday and we will draw for a winner. One winner each day!
TODAY’S TRIVIA QUESTION: What was the name of the residential school that Saul Indian Horse attended? (Please come to the office during the 15 minute break or at lunch to fill out a ballot with your answer. We will announce the winner of the 2 Sea Dog tickets after lunch.)

· The JV boys and girls basketball programs are seeking more players to try out this week. Numbers are extremely low. Come out to the last few try outs if you think this is a fit for you. Here is the next try out date:

· Grade 12s: A rep from Queens University is here today, October 23rd at 2:45 p.m. in the Guidance area. Please see Mrs. Godwin to sign up and pick up a teacher permission form. Submitted by: Mrs. Godwin
· Year books are on still on sale for the reduced price of $35 until October 31st. Prices then increase to $45. You may order on Edline or bring your money to the office. Submitted by: Yearbook Committee
· Swim Team Cheers! At their last meet, RHS Swim Team showed great citizenship and sportsmanship for para-swimmers racing in the meet. RHS swimmers and parents were cheering and supporting these swimmers as loud as they could be. IT WAS JUST A GREAT MOMENT! Submitted by K. Jordan
