HARRY MILLER MIDDLE SCHOOL

ANNOUNCEMENT FORM

Today’s Date: Friday, March 22th, 2024

Good morning, Harry Miller Blue Bears!

You may have noticed that the artist this morning is one that many of you have probably heard on the radio. Charlotte Cardin is a renowned French Canadian singer who has many English songs who actually began her career in French as that is her first language. Her song Confetti is a song that was written in French first. With time, she did a bilingual version, and finally rewrote the entire song in English to reach a larger number of people.

This just goes to show that if you work hard at being bilingual, it can be a great attribute that can help you in your present and future endeavors. Everything is possible when you put your mind to it!

This morning are the grade 7 and 8 Math competitions in the cafeteria.  Mme Hayden asks that grade 7 students participating check in with period 1 teachers and then go to the cafeteria.  Grade 8 students should check in with their period  2 teachers and then go to the cafeteria.

This is the last weekend to order your hot lunch for the month of April. It closes on Tuesday, March 26th at midnight.

Yearbooks are on sale on the Josten’s website (Jostens.com)
