RHS Morning Announcements
   Wednesday, October 29/14
 
·        Reminder to all Grade 9s:  permission slips for Take Our Kids to Work day are due.  Please hand them in to your homeroom teacher.   Submitted by:            P. Godwin, Guidance
 
·        2015 RHS Grad Class Trip to New York City!  There is a meeting in Mrs. Gauthier’s room this today at 12:05 to get all the details.
 
·        Come and enjoy RHS performers and artists during “The Night of the Living Arts”, our Halloween-themed Performing Arts Night on Thursday, October 30th at 7:30 PM in the RHS Cafeteria.  With a spooky set, great performances and other Halloween horrors, it is bound to be a fun night.  Admission is $6 or $5 with a costume but bring some extra cash for the canteen.  So, put on a spooky accessory and come have a great time!  Proceeds will go to the RHS Guitar Fund.  Submitted by Ms. Shea
 
·        Attention all actors!  If you haven’t had the chance to audition for the one act plays, please sign up on the performing arts bulletin board for the auditions today @ lunch.  If you are interested but unable to attend please contact Mrs. Shea or one of the student directors.  Submitted by Ms. Shea & Bailey Boyer
 
·        There will be sound checks happening today and Thursday directly after school.  You must attend one of them in order to play.
 
·        Hey Red Hawks!  A reminder that tomorrow will be Turtleneck Day!  We will also be playing tug of war during the second half of lunch out on the front field TOMORROW!
 
·        Ski Club meeting postponed until tomorrow.  Meeting will be held in science lecture theatre as soon as the lunch bell rings.
 
·        Tech Crew please meet in the gym after announcements for morning set up IF you have teacher permission.  Submitted by J. Shea
 
·        Library will be closed today.  Submitted by Ms. Davis
 
·        Coding students are meeting today at lunch to work on robots.  Submitted by Mr. Copeland
 
·        For any new girls wishing to be introduced into Rugby and to play this Spring, there will be an information meeting in Room 103 at lunch on Friday.  Submitted by Drew Collins
 
·        121 English students that need to write their test will do so during class.  Submitted by Mr. Ross
 
·        Reminder to staff and students of altered schedule.  Please bring your copy of Indian Horse to be signed if you so wish.  Red Shirst & Hype Crew please come to gym at period 2.  Submitted by Mrs. Holder
 
 
·        Would the members of the Beyond the Hurt team please see Mrs. Dunnett this morning for some important information.
