This is a reminder of concert band rehearsal after school today.
There is Singing Club today at lunch. The assembly is next week!
There will be a band prep for grade six band students tomorrow in period 5.
If you are one of the concert band members making tickets today, please come to the music room at lunch.
Sports:
A big Congratulations goes out to the Varsity Boys Basketball team on winning the District Finals against Hampton Middle school - The whole team fought hard, played very well and represented QMS with Pride.
Good luck to the Varsity girls basketball team as they host the district finals today at 4pm.
Varsity girls volleyball tryouts will start tomorrow from 3-4:30pm and run again on Monday and Thursday next week. Would all interested players please sign up outside the gym.
Varsity boys volleyball tryouts will start next week - Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-4:30pm. Would all interested players please sign up outside the gym.
QMS is looking for a JV boys volleyball coach. If you are interested please contact the school.
Students of the Month who are going skating tomorrow, turn in your permission slips today.

There will be after school Sculpture help for Grade 7 Art students today from 2:40-4:30, with Mrs. Barton. Extra help also, every day this week, from 12:00-12:40.
Work will be happening on the Anti-Bullying mural, every day at lunch this week and next. Feel free to stop in and help. There will be painting after school from 2:40 – 4:00 today.
We are still looking for suggestions of your favourite book characters to use in Mr. Le Clair’s mural. Please take your suggestions to either Mr. Le Clair or Mrs. Benjamin until the end of next week.
Tonight is the Movie & Parent Information evening at 6:30 pm. We will be showing “Wonder” in the gym and the Oasis Youth Centre will give an overview of their programs. The parent session will take place in the Cafeteria. Tickets for movie are on sale at lunch or at the door.
May 17th is WE Day in Saint John. All QMS students have been invited to attend the event at Harbour Station. Special QMS T-shirts, for the event, are available for purchase, online, or via your homeroom teacher. Please encourage your parents to register and purchase a t-shirt for this event.
