Good luck to the JV boys volleyball team as they travel to Hampton today at 4:00pm for the district Semi finals.
 
Good luck to the Varsity girls volleyball team as they travel to RPS for the District Finals at 4:00pm.
 
Congratulations to the JV girls on winning their semi final game against BMS, the girls will travel to RPS tomorrow for the District Finals.
 
The Flag Football team will practice from 3:00-4:30pm today - please meet in the gym afterschool.

The GSA has extended the Jellybean Count during the first half of lunch. For a mere 25 cents per guess, stop by on your way to the cafeteria and guess the closest amount of jellybeans to win the whole jar. Winner will be announced later today.
 
The GSA will be meeting today, so please bring your lunch and join us in Mr. Simards room at the bell. 
 
To Celebrate Pride Week, here is today’s thought:  May 17th is the international day against homophobia and transphobia.  To celebrate this day, QMS is having its first ever Ally Day.  Allies are not necessarily part of the LGBTQ community, but they support people who are.  On Wednesday (tomorrow) we hope that you will wear the colours of the rainbow and on Friday, sign our pledge and join us for a little celebration in the Library at lunch. 
  
There will be a Best Buddies activity on Wednesday (tomorrow), Period 3.  We are going to meet in the Grade 6 Resource Room.
 
WE Believe Saint John event.  On May 17, 2018, we are asking all students to bring a non-perishable food item.  These items will be collected by Downey Ford.  Food items will then be distributed throughout Southern New Brunswick to food banks.  It would be BEST if you could take a brown-bag lunch as line ups will be LONG to buy one!  Backpacks are permitted, however, they may be subject to a search.
