​Cougar Pride continues with the Triple C Club who made a card for Greg Marr, the truck driver who donated the transport truck and many hours of his time on the day of the Santa Claus parade. Here is the reply that Mrs. O’Regan received from him.

• Congratulations to the JV boys Basketball team on defeating Belleisle 41-30.

• Good Luck to the Varsity girls Basketball team as they travel to Sussex for a 4:00 pm game today.

• Good luck to the Varsity boys Basketball team as they travel to Sussex for a 5:30 pm game today.

• The Varsity girls and Varsity boys soccer teams will face off in the gym at lunch today - all are welcome to come and watch - please no food in the gym.

• Would the Varsity Boys & Girls Basketball teams go to the gym at break today.

• Congratulations to the JV Boys Soccer team on defeating the JV Girls Soccer Team yesterday!

• All Grade 7 & 8 Band students are requested to go to the Music Room at lunch and period 4 today for a Mandatory Dress Rehearsal.  The concert tonight starts at 6:30 and performers need to be at the school at 5:45.  It will be a great concert featuring many different acts showcasing QMS talent.
• There will be a short meeting at 2:45 today after school in room 107 for all science teachers.

• Reminder to all Grade 8 Quebec Trippers!  Please submit your first deposit and paperwork to Mr. Robichaud before Friday.  Your seat may be jeopardized if your paperwork is not handed in.

• QMS is searching for Volleyball Talent to play against its undefeated Teacher Team, 15 years running!  The game will take place tomorrow at lunch from 12:00 – 12:35.  Students wishing to play, see Mr. McCallum.   Fee to play is $2.  Admission to watch is 25 cents.  All proceeds go towards the Turkey Drive.

• Speaking of Turkey Drive…Students, start gathering your toonies and loonies for all of the activities that will be happening around the school this Thursday afternoon. As you know, QMS classes are preparing for an afternoon of fun and excitement as we support the KVFD Christmas Fund and Turkey Drive. There will be movies, nail painting, a Sea Dog ticket raffle, mini-sticks, a bake sale and much, much more.

• Friday, the last day before Christmas vacation, will be a pajama/hat day. Continuing our fundraising efforts, all students who would like to wear their pjs or a hat may do so for a dollar. Again, all proceeds will go to the KVFD Christmas Fund which supports families here in the Valley.
