KVHS Announcements  -  February 23, 2018
 
 
·         Today’s special in the cafeteria is: taco salad and garlic wedge for $6.00
 
 
·         Yearbook staff will be selling yearbooks in the cafeteria at lunch time from February 12th – 28th. Books are going fast so don’t miss out!
 
 
·         Upcoming university visits:  Memorial University – February 27, 12:30pm
           Acadia University – February 27, 9:30 – 11:30pm
 
·         Are you interested in building your leadership skills? The Horizons student leadership conference is a one day leadership conference taking place on Friday, April 6th from 9am – 2pm at Saint John High. The cost is $25 and includes lunch. If you would like to register, please see Mrs. Wright in room 136.
 
 
·         Hey Crusaders! We have our beach-themed coffee house February 28th from 6:30 – 8:30pm. For just FIVE dollars you can have some delicious food and great tunes. Musicians! The sign up sheet will be taken down in the next 2 days so write your name down ASAP.
 
·         There will be a ping pong tournament at KVHS, on March 1st. See Mr. Standring to register.
 
 
·         There will be a meeting for the waterpolo team discussing practice times on Thursday, March 1. If you are on the team, you must attend.
 
 
·         Girls rugby practice has begun! Join us in the gym Wednesday, February 28th at 5:30pm. No experience necessary. All skill levels welcome.
 
·         Hey Crusaders! We will be having Tacky Tourist Day next Wednesday! Dress up and bring a dollar. This money will go to the Indian Umbrella Club – a non-profit which sends underprivileged students in India to school! Don’t forget to go all out!
 
 
·         A huge thank you goes out to all the grads for an awesome night at Black and White Affair! The leadership team also would like to thank Mrs. Jensen, Mr. Dobson, Mr. Gilbert, Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Bell, Mme. Hart, Mrs. Vaughan, Mrs. MacDonald, Mrs. Stevens and Mrs. Logan. Without your support events like these would not be possible!
 
 
·         Come out to Harbour Station tomorrow at 1pm decked out in as much blue and white as possible to cheer on your senior girls basketball team as they play Fredericton High in the provincial finals!
