KVHS Announcements    October 13, 2017
 
Attention 2018 graduates: HiLite Gallery will be here at the school for graduation portraits October 16-20. Book your session by signing up at the school office.
 
St. Thomas University will be holding an information session in the Work
Room on Friday, October 13th at 11:30am.
 
Saint Mary’s University will be in the Work Room today at lunch for an information meeting.
 
The year book sale has been extended to the 27th of October! Get yours now!
 
KVHS is proud to present its First Fall Production in 7 years! 7 Stories is a powerful and thought provoking comedy exploring multiple perspectives as a man stands on the ledge of the seventh story of a building contemplating his life and the end of it. During this pivotal time, this protagonist is continually interrupted by a series of colorful characters, residents who live in the building, who exchange conversations with the man.
The show runs on Tuesday to Thursday, October 17th-19th with a 7:30pm curtain each evening. Tickets are $10 for adults ($5 for children under 12) and can be purchased in the library at KVHS.
 
Come on down to the qplex on Saturday, October 28th 8:30 – 10:30pm for a Halloween glow-in-the-dark dance party. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the qplex canteen or at the door. For more information visit the facebook page or stop by the canteen. Happy Halloween!

Senior girls Soccer team is headed to PEI this morning. The senior boys soccer team beat Harbour View yesterday 6-4 in their last game of the regular season. Great job boys!

Mr. Morton’s Grade 9 and 10 Phys Ed classes are all to meet in Lab 415 for today only.
 
There will be a meeting today at 12:35pm in 411 (Mrs. Hachey’s room) for anyone wanting to help with the Pumpkin Patch this year.
 
Members of the boys hockey team are reminded to get paperwork to Mrs. Farren as soon as possible.
 
Yearbook will be having a brief meeting at the start of lunch in Mr. Marin’s room for all those interested in being involved with yearbook.
 
For those interested in getting their feet wet in applying stage makeup, there will be an information session today at 12:35pm in Mme. Robichaud’s classroom (111). She will be taking names of those interested in helping out next week with the play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
 
All students who are going to the Symphony NB Concert next Wednesday are reminded to get their permission form to Mrs. Palmer sometime today. If she is not in her room, please politely ask one of the ladies in the office to place it in her mailbox.
 
Reminder to Blue Tones members: there is a rehearsal for baritones today at 12:30pm in the rehearsal room. Bring your lunch.
 
Good luck to the cross country runners competing in the regional meet this weekend in Fredericton. Go Crusaders!
 
Spook Trail: Those who want to be involved in the following sections, listen up: Flying Witch, Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Dracula, Museum (that’s the one with fake picture frames that snap down to reveal a masked person). Please meet in Mr. Ouellet’s room 289 in the Tech Wing after the announcements.
Also, Pumpkin Patch is still looking for students to help. Please see Ms. Costain or Ms. Hachey for that.
