​Bonnie Hierlihy was honoured by The Learning Partnership as one of Canada’s Outstanding Principals at an unforgettable gala event last week in Toronto. Bonnie is the Principal of Fairvale Elementary School and was one of 40 honourees recognized for their contributions to public education from all across Canada.  The Learning Partnership is a national organization which provides programs to schools which help to improve student achievement in a number of areas from preschool to Grade 12. As part of this award Bonnie and other recipients were able to take part in professional learning in the area of leadership while she was in Toronto.  Bonnie is pictured below with Superintendent Zoe Watson, Hampton Education Center, Director of Schools Paul Smith and past ASD-S recipients of this award: Matt Bedard, Louise Johnson, Christine Roy, and Michael Wilson.  Congratulations Bonnie!
