Campobello Island Consolidated grade 11/12 Leadership class recently held 2 incredible fundraisers to support a cause near and dear to their hearts, Charlotte County Cancer Society. It is a local independent organization used to benefit Charlotte County Residents fighting and living with the effects of cancer, such as, unplanned medication costs, dressings/ostomy supplies, prosthetics and transportation. 

The students and staff organized a local “Charlotte County Cancer Walk” with the entire student body (K-12). They collected donations and walked to support this local organization. They also hosted a supper (buffet style) and collected a total of $2495.50.  Below, CICS students present a cheque to Campobello’s local chairperson, Kathleen Case.​
