Announcements – September 15, 2014
 
·         Badminton Continues today from 3:00 - 4:30, all are welcome to attend.
 
·         JV boys Soccer tryouts start tomorrow from 3:00-5:00 and again on Thursday from 3:00-5:00. Parents are reminded to pick up your student @ the Q-Plex Field. Would all interested students please sign up outside the gym today.
 
·         The varsity boys soccer team will practice Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-5:00 - this will be on Saunders Field - the Field behind the tennis courts at the Q-Plex.
 
·         We are still in need of a JV Girls Soccer coach. We need to have this position filled right away if we are going to have a team.
 
·         Grade 7/8 Band students are to go to the Music Room for 3rd period today.
 
·         Any grade 6 students interested in band, must see Mr. White at some point this week to try instruments or let him know if you have your own.  Note, it’s better to try it out6 than regret it later on!
 
·         On Tuesday, the Art Room will be open at Noon for any students who are interested in working on a Remembrance Day Poster.  The posters will be judged at the local Branch and then at the Provincial level.  Then the winning posters go to Ottawa for judging at the National level.  Last year we had three winners locally and two winners provincially.  
 
·         Attention QMS Cougars!  It’s a new year which means Triple C is looking for new members!  Come check us out in Room 111, this Friday, at noon (bring your lunch) and be part of something BIG!  Also, check out our new bulletin board across from the gym, for special announcements!
 
·         Registration forms for the babysitting course need to be returned to Ms. Leach.  The first class begins this Thursday at 2:45 in Room 111.
