• All scheduled exams begin at 9:00 a.m. Students should be in their classrooms by

• In the event of a STORM DAY; that day’s exam will be rescheduled to the NEXT day at 1:00 p.m. following the regularly scheduled exam being written at 9:00 a.m.  NOTE:  in the event of a STORM DAY on Friday, January 23, the Period Five exam will be rescheduled to Monday, January 26 at 9:00 a.m. The school will communicate this through social media sites, Edline, and voicemail.
• All exams/presentation sessions are approximately two hours in length. Students are to remain in the classroom for the full two hours.
• The cafeteria will be open as a designated study area throughout the day. Please note the cafeteria will NOT be serving food during exam week.  Full service will resume on January 28.
• Buses will be running at their regularly scheduled times during exam week.
• GRADE 9 STUDENTS will write the reading portion of the English Language Proficiency Assessment during their English period exam time. (Note:  the ELPA replaces an English exam.)
• Turnaround days take place on Monday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 27; providing there have been no weather cancellations during exam days.  These are marking days for teachers and students do not attend school.  Students return on Wednesday, January 28^th for the start of Semester 2.  Students should go to their Semester 1 homerooms to pick up their schedules and report cards.
• Report Cards will be issued on Wednesday, January 28^th.

• Exemption forms will be available at the school office on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.  Completed exemption forms are to be returned on Thursday, January 15, 2015.
• The list of students exempting an exam will be available on Friday, January 16, 2015.
• Student absences and tardiness between January 13 – 16^th will count toward the attendance incentive and may result in voiding their exemption.
