Cougar Pride Shout Out to Emelia
Lundberg and Georgia Losier who are
performing in Gala Ballet Productions’ The Nutcracker at the Imperial
Theatre tonight and tomorrow night. They have been rehearsing since August for this
production. Hoping to see many QMS staff and students at the show.

Congratulations to our Varsity Boys
basketball team on Winning their first game of the season!
Attention JV boys basketball – your
game on Monday, Dec. 9th at MCS will be a 4pm start not 5:30pm.
Reminder to all Basketball players

Badminton team today at Lunch in the teach room!

Music:
A HUGE congratulations to all members of the
Singing Club, Grade Six band and Concert Band on a wonderful performance last
night! You wowed the audience with your music. Fantastic
concert! A special thank you to Mrs. Page for your excellent piano
playing.
Hey QMS! Our annual Holiday Variety show
will be Thursday, December 19. We need talent from YOU. We are
looking for singing, dancing, juggling, puppeteering, magic tricks, unicycling
- you name it! Auditions will be held during lunch next Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday. Please sign up for an audition. Audition
sheets for sign up will be posted outside of the music room. Looking
forward to your talents!

Cafeteria news: That
pesky elf is back!! Each day he will be hiding at LUNCH TIME only. Be the first
one to find him and win one of our baked goods.
Be aware that he comes in several different shapes and sizes so you
never know who you’re looking for. Good luck to all!! NOTE: he will NOT be hiding the day of our
festive dinner.
Turkey Dinner: Tickets sales have closed. The meal will be served on Wednesday, Dec 11th
and will be the only meal available in the cafeteria that day. Please bring a
lunch if you did not purchase a ticket.
Registration
is now open for the Timberwolves Middle School Volleyball Program for boys and girls starting in
January!
Clinics
will be held on Thursday nights starting on Jan 9, 2020 and ending on Feb 27,
2020 with cancellation dates being Monday, Jan 20 and Monday, Feb 24.
Girls will be based out of Chris Saunders Memorial and the boys program
will be held at Bayside Middle. Clinics are $120 which includes eight sessions
and a club t-shirt. Beginner girls and boys programs will be from 6 to 7:15 PM
and Experienced girls and boys will be from 7:30 to 9 PM.
