Grade 5 Make a Difference Project at SJBKE

The grade 5 class at SJBKE are participating in a project to give back to their community.  The Make a Difference Project is designed to be student led to empower children to make an impact within their community. The class selected the SPCA/ARL as the organization they would like to pay it forward to.

To raise funds for this project the students are organizing three fundraisers.  They will be hosting a bake sale to take place at the school on Wednesday June 11th.  On June 17th and 18th they will hold a used book sale at the school, and will be accepting donations from the community to assist with this fundraiser up until that date.  As the final fundraiser the class will be selling raffle tickets. The lucky winners of the raffle will have the opportunity to throw a cream pie at their choice of several teacher volunteers.
All funds raised from these events will go directly to the SPCA/ARL.
