New Class Created at QES Beginning Monday

​Good afternoon,

This is a Barb Creamer speaking, Principal of Quispamsis Elementary School, with an important messages.

We are very fortunate to have another teacher placed at Quispamsis Elementary School to help alleviate the overcrowding in a number of grade levels.  We will be creating a new grade 3/4 classroom and changing the Mrs. Savoy's 2/3 into a grade 1/2 combined, beginning Monday.  All students will be introduced to their new teacher tomorrow and will know who their classmates will be before they head home for the weekend.  We are working with the Distict Office to secure a new teacher by the end of the work day today.
The selection of students moving into the new classrooms was not done without a great deal of thought and involvement of all last year and this years teachers.  I realize that a change after school has begun is never easy for students or parents, however the creation of another class is always a benefit to all students, as class sizes have been decreased overall. 
You will be recieving calls from teachers if your child is being moved. No changes will occur in Kindergarten, Grade 5 English, or 3-5 French Immersion.  We hope you see this a positive change for your child, as your child will be looking to you to know how they should feel about it.  We will work hard to ensure an easy transition for everyone.  Thank you so much for your support and understanding as we work to make your child's year the best ever!
