Please note that there is no school on Monday Nov. 13 in observation of the Remembrance Day holiday.
 
Your child will bring home a first term report card on Monday November 20 and there will be a notice in the report card re your scheduled interview time (most interviews will be held on Thursday November 23 from 4-7 PM and on Friday Nov. 24 from 8:30-11:30).  There will be no school for students on Friday November 24.
 
Did you know that MES families can borrow skates from our collection here at the school to go to public skating at the GCC?!  Let your child's teacher know by Thursday morning at 10 AM and we'll make sure the skates get to the GCC, you pick them up on the weekend at the front desk and return them to the desk after the skate - it's that easy!
 
Please mark your calendars now for Monday Dec. 4 for a Parent School Support Committee meeting like no other!  We'll provide supper and childcare in order that we enable you to attend! Your children will be supervised while they have supper, have a Christmas movie and age appropriate craft activity while you learn a bit more about what's happening at MES and hear from Jen Grant, a district guidance leader on Zones of Regulation and how you can use this program to improve your child's behaviour at home!  Plan now to attend on Dec. 4 from 5:00-6:30 PM!
