It was great to meet with everyone last week and discuss your child's progress. I have noticed lots of positive movement this month and am confident we will continue to get grow as independent readers and writers.

Just a reminder that December Hot Lunch and Christmas Dinner orders are due Thursday, November 29th. December Scholastic orders are due on Dec 3rd. 
 

We are asking that students try and wear either green, red or white for Christmas concert on Dec 13th.
 

Students are welcome to bring in a book from home n Thursday or Friday to show and share with the class.

In writing this week, students are creating How-To Writing books.

In math, they are working on addition and subtraction strategies, as well as using number lines and hundred charts for skip counting.
 

In December, we will be discussing traditions. I will send home a short project for students to work on at home and present to the class. More will follow soon.
