​WHAT DID WE DO TODAY?

LITERACY.  Read a few chapters from THE ICE MONSTER by David Walliams.  Worked in our Writing Folders.  Read independently or with a buddy for 15 minutes.

MATH.  Worked on concepts such as Two-Digit Addition, Lines of Symmetry, Interpreting Graphs, Two-Digit Subtraction, and Division Facts.

SOCIAL STUDIES.  Assembled the booklet entitled FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE.  We will be using this booklet as a source of information as we continue our study of Early Settlers in Canada.

Students in Grades 3-5 went skating today at the York Arena.  We are going again next Tuesday. Make sure to bring your skates and helmet.

Sock Hop in the gym tomorrow.  Cost to participate is $ 2.
