September is done and we are moving into October, these four weeks have gone fast.

Reading - we are focusing on stretching and blending sounds in words to solve them. We continue to work on short vowel sounds. I will post a few sites on the BPS website for you to view/use at home.

Sight Words: Big, by, for, my, she

Writing - Students will make a list if topics they are experts in (ie: dinosaurs, bikes) and create new stories on what they know.

Math - Reviewing numbers to 10 and ordering numbers to 20. Also addition to 5 review.

We have an assembly first thing Monday morning and the Terry Fox walk will be on Friday.
