WHAT DID WE DO TODAY?

We started the day with a visit from Terry Fox's older brother. This assembly was in preparation from our Terry Fox Walk taking place this Friday. Everyone is asked to donate $1 for the fundraiser.

Language Arts: Listened to a reading of The Fox and the Falling Leaves, read independently, completed two Word Work activities (Word Ladder, Making Words), and drew and wrote about a Pumpkin.

Math: Completed (as a group) a Daily Math activity sheet that explored concepts such as skip counting, counting backwards and forwards, representing numbers, and greater than and less than. We then completed the first Spiral Math practice for October.

Art. We began coloring sections of a picture that when assembled will produce a Fall Mural. I suspect we will finish this project tomorrow.
