French- we are learning about our world. We are focusing primarity on Canada, looking at New Brunswick. We will then be learning how to write a letter in French and in the letter we will discuss our community. 

Math- we are learning addition and their corresponding subtraction facts. Focusing on mental math strategies (0-18) before diving into 2 digit addition. Please practice math facts at home. Using cards, flip them and have you child add. We turn this into "war" The person who says the fact quickest, keeps the card until the cards are all gone. You then add the amount of cards and the player with the most cards wins. Fun and challenging!
