Congratulations to our Major Athletic Award Winners

​On Tuesday, June 19th Devon Middle School hosted its 9th annual Athletic Ceremony with the following student’s being recipients of our major yearend awards in their respective categories.

Wildcats take Provincial Track and Field Title

Congratulations to the athletes of the Devon Middle School Track and Field team for tying George Street for the team tile at the District meet back on May 31st.  At the District meet the boys won the overall title for the first time in school history.  The boys followed this up with an overall win at Provincials while the girls placed third overall to combine for a total of 423 points edging out George Street Middle School who had 412 points to capture the Provincial Championship.
Mrs. Glenn and Mr. Butler are very proud of these young athletes for another great track season.

Congratuations to the Tier 2 Girls Volleyball Team

Congratuations to the Tier 2 Girls Volleyball team who placed 2nd at the Nasis Invitational Tournament. The girls had a great weekend and really came together as a team. In the finals, the girls battled hard ending the first two sets in extra points. The girls fell 15-11 in the final set. Well done girls!

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Volleyball Team
The Devon Varsity Girls Volleyball team won first in the green division at the first STU Middle School Classic held at Grant Harvey. The girls played 6 matches to come out on top! They played as a team and never gave up. Great work!

Congratulations to all DMS Basketball Teams in the 2018 Season

​Congratulations to all basketball teams, athletes and coaches for a wonderful season!

Our DMS T2Girls had a big win at Districts, and came home with the T2Girls district banner.  The T2 Girls beat McAdam 33-32.  Maddie Nash scored the winning basketball with 24 seconds left in the game.  Congratulations girls!

Congratulations to all Badminton teams in the 2017 Seasons

 

Congratulations to all badminton athletes and coaches for strong season.  We had many athletes finsih in the top 3 at Districts and came close and capturaing the Tier 2 Boys team banner.
