​The PowerSchool public portal site is now accessible for parents, guardians and students at FHS. Students can use their FHS username (not full email address) and password to login.

Summer School 2021 Info
Due to the ongoing pandemic, ABC Summer School at FHS has been cancelled again for this year.  EECD is offering online classes for those enrolled in the school system.

We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to resuming next summer.

Postgraduates are welcome!  They DO NOT require the signature of their high school principal on the form, however, it IS recommended that they check with their post-secondary institutions to ensure that the summer school courses are acceptable for entrance (this has never been an issue, but it is good to be sure).

The brochure and application form are now available below.   Make sure you read the brochure carefully and completely.  The application form with payment is a binding contract and you agree to abide by the rules of summer school.

Registration should be done through your local school guidance offices, or at Fredericton High School between June 17 and 21.  Late fees will apply June 24-26.  If you need to register ​before this date, please leave a sealed envelope with the application form and cheque or money order at the main office of Fredericton High School.  Your cancelled cheque will serve as your temporary receipt.

​Please note that absences from a test REQUIRE a doctor's note, or a zero will be issued for the test.  A maximum of 2 excused absences are allowed, and a phone call is made for each absence.

Concours d'art oratoire 2020 ONLINE!

Due to the spread of COVI-19 in Canada, we have cancelled our public Concours d'art oratoire competition.

Instead ...

We are giving NB students a chance to participate in an Online province-wide competition

The competition will be open to French second language students in grades 6-12.  This includes both Post-Intensive and French Immersion students

The competition will also be open to Francophones currently in grade 12.​

 PRIZES:

Université de Moncton Bursaries 

Grade 12 students in all categories are eligible to win bursaries.​

1st place winners=$2000

2nd place winners =$1500

3rd place winners =$1000

**There is a possibility that more bursaries will be available soon. Check our website for updates** 

Other prizes:

1st, 2nd and 3rd in all categories will receive a plaque.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

GRAD CLASS 2021!

Hey 2021 GRADS are you interested in:

  • Doing your part to help fundraise for Safe Grad and Prom 2021?
  • Being part of a motivated and enthusiastic homeroom?
  • Building your Leadership Skills while working with your fellow Grads?
  • Taking initiative and providing input in Grad Class Events?
  • ​Creating new and exciting ways to bring your fellow Grads together?

If you answered YES! to any of these questions and will be entering Grade 12 in the fall, consider applying to the FHS Grad Class Committee 2020-2021.

 The FHS Grad Class Committee is looking for students from all backgrounds. We are looking for a group of well-rounded individuals who will represent all of our Grads here at FHS. If you answered YES! to any of the above questions, please consider applying to the 2020-2021 FHS Grad Class Committee.

Ask TWO TEACHERS to be your references. Teachers have already been given reference forms to be filled out. Please ask for references before the application due date.

Applications will be due May 15th at 4:00pm. Late Applications will not be accepted. 

Candidates may be contacted for online interviews before final decisions are made. Information will be sent via student email.  

Successful applicants will be contacted via STUDENT EMAIL between May 25th and May 29th.

Kats' Kitchen

Kats’ Kitchen food security program was formed in January 2016 as a response to student hunger in our school. It is organized and managed by a dedicated team of students and teachers who seek to foster learning potential by ensuring every student has access to a nutritious breakfast and lunch.​


Breakfast

Breakfast is served every morning between 8:00 and 8:30 by student volunteers. It consists of grab-n-go items that include milk, juice, fruit, yoghurt, muffins, and cereal bars. 


Lunch

Lunch is provided daily in partnership with the Fredericton Community Kitchen. Student volunteers serve sandwiches, milk, fruit, granola bars, cheese, crackers and eggs.


A Week in the Life of Kats’ Kitchen

400 to 500 breakfasts served

350 to 400 lunches served

350 lunches prepared every Wednesday for city schools

30 to 40 student volunteers meet every Monday at noon to plan and organize
