GNMES will be sharing
the return to school plan in the weeks ahead. In the meantime, there are a few
important things for you to know and for which to plan.
There will be many
changes this year and to help make sure there is the adequate time to discuss
the changes we will have a staggered return to school for everyone for the
first week. You will be contacted the week of
August 31- Sept 4
to let you know which day your child can come. Kindergarten students only
attend from 9-11 on their day.
Monday, Sept. 7 -
Holiday
Tuesday, Sept. 8 - 1/2
of students in Grades k-5 (1/2 K students attend from 9-11)
Wednesday, Sept. 9 -
1/2 of students in Grades k-5 (1/2 K students attend from 9-11)
Thursday, Sept. 10 –
All Students
Friday, Sept. 11 – All
Students
For the first week.
Drop
off can start at 7:45
with students going directly to classrooms.
There will not be any teachers on duty on the playground this first week.
Every child will need
to bring a face mask, water bottle, indoor shoes, lunch box and bookbag, and
the school fee.
Please label
your child’s belongings
with their
name, even though they will not be far from their bubble during the day.
This
year, it is especially important for each family pay the school fees and not
rely on the school to provide the supplies
. Students will need to have
their own individual supplies and will not be able to share.
Cafeteria services will
be different this year. Food will not be prepared here and there will be
on-line ordering only. More information to follow about this.
We have not received
any further information regarding transportation at this time.

vacation. We are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces in a few weeks.
