School Memo-Monday, June 19th
Memo to Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
 Monday, June 19th, 2017
Creeker families,

Welcome to the last week of school! Here are a few reminders for you:
Hot Lunch and milk - Hot lunch is still on this Thursday! Milk, however, has stopped for the year .

Library - there is no library this week, but students are to bring back any books that belong to the school

School Picnic  - The picnic is  this Tuesday 11:40 - 12:40 - Rain or Shine! Don't forget to wear red or white if you have it to celebrate Canada 150! If it is raining, we will be meeting in your child's classroom. Please remember to sign your child out and let the teacher know if you plan on taking them home after the picnic.

Talent Show - The grade 3-5 talent show is this Tuesday from 1-2:30 in the gym. If your child is taking part and has music for this, we need this either as a link, on a stick or CD. Mr. Slack is organizing the order and music on Monday.

PSSC Dinner - The PSSC  will be meeting on Tuesday at Sam's Sneads at 6:00 pm

Celebrations - Congrats to our Ks and 5s as they celebrate this week!  Ks will celebrate at various times during the week ( Monday for Mr. Tobin's class and Wednesday for K Mertens and MacDonald). On Thursday, Grade 5s will have a  ceremony at 11 followed by a  dance hosted by MC Mitch Claybourne . Grade 5s are to wear their school t-shirts as it will be a special "glow" dance.

Achievement Reports - Final reports are going out on Friday. Creeker Cheers to all our students on their hard work this year! Keep growing over the summer, Creekers !

Moving? Again, if you are moving or your child will be going to another school, please let us know immediately.

Friday Dismissal - the last day of school is a half day. We are dismissing at 11:30 am

Class Lists 2017 - teachers are now compiling class lists but they will not be completed for a few more days. As this can change very quickly depending on a variety of factors, we hesitate to give out information. However, if your child will have much  anxiety around this, please let us know and we will see if we can assist.

Final Comments- Thank you to all our families for your support this year. We look forward to more Creeker learning and growing in the coming year.  It has been a priviledge to be part of this amazing community!
