Memo to Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good Afternoon, Creeker Families,
Christmas Bazaar - THANK YOU for your generous donations and enthusiasm in taking part in our Christmas Bazaar this past Saturday. At this point, you and your families and friends helped to raise between 15 and 16 thousand dollars! The funds are going toward updating our playground. Thanks to our Home and School for their hard work in bringing this together for our school!
Fluoride Mouthrinse - today, the fluoride mouthrinse consent forms and brochures are being sent home. Our parent volunteers are being trained this week and we will begin next week, Wednesday the 22nd of November. This is a program for grades 1-5.
Cashonline Program- The District has recently contacted our school, amongst others, to be part of the Cashless Schools program - cashonline. Essentially what this means is that in the future, you will be able to pay for fees or other items for school , online. More info to come on this in the coming weeks.
Achievement Reports - First term reports were issued today. Please read through these with your child, fill out the goals sheets with them and come in for the parent-teacher conferences this week. Looking forward to seeing everyone! A reminder there is no school on Friday!
Hot Lunch - a reminder that the deadline to order is Wednesday at 7:00 am. Home and School is continuing to work with Chartwells to improve this system. Thank you for your understanding. https://www.schoollunchorder.ca/
Poinsettias and Wreaths to Sell! - The Home and School will be taking orders for these items in the next few days! Please be on the look out for the order forms going home tomorrow, due the following Monday, the 27th. Ho Ho Ho!

Thurs. Nov 23 - Parent/Teacher Interviews in the evening
Fri. Nov 24th - No school for students... Parent/Teacher interviews in the morning, Professional Learning in the afternoon
Sat. Nov 25th - Retake Day at Harvey Studios ( you would have to call them)
Week of Nov 27th - Students in Grades 4 and 5 participate in OurSchool Survey as in similar years ( note to come)
