​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good afternoon Creeker Families! 

 
At this time of year, I want to remind you all that you need to check each morning to make sure there are no school delays or closures, bus delays or cancellations. This can be done via the school or district website, http://web1.nbed.nb.ca/sites/asd-w/Pages/default.aspx,twitter, listening to a local radio station, or phoning the hotline at 453-5454 or 1-888-388-4455.
Home & School would like you to know that in case of a school cancellation on a Thursday Chartwell's hot lunch day, the lunches ordered will be delivered on the following day, Friday. In case of a cancellation on a pizza hot lunch day, a day will be added onto the end of the rotation.

Mon. Feb. 12th-Beginning of School staff appreciation week-thank you to our amazing staff!
 
Tues. Feb. 13th -Fundraiser Sock Hop at AM recess for K-2 students; $1 admission and $1 for a glow stick; Pizza hot lunch
 
Weds. Feb. 14th -Fundraiser Sock Hop at AM recess for 3-5 students; $1 admission and $1 for a glow stick; Valentine's Day
 
Thurs. Feb 15th -Chartwell's hot lunch; Flag Day
 
Fri. Feb 16th -Chinese New Year; Chinese food hot lunch for those who ordered
 
Mon. Feb. 19th- Family Day holiday-no school

Feb. 19- Family Day holiday-No school
Feb. 20- Home and School- 6:30pm; K-2 100th day of school celebration day
Feb. 23- Movie Night "Aladdin"-Proceeds to World Vision Sponsor Child; possible bottle drive at the same time, stay tuned
Feb. 26- Student Pancake lunch provided by Home and School; Winterlude week begins, events will be announced next week
Feb. 27- 1/2 day PL day, 11am dismissal; PSSC 6:30pm
March 5-9 - March break (no school)
