​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good Monday afternoon to all our Creeker families,

We know it is a very busy time for everyone as we prepare for Christmas festivities and holidays. We will continue to work hard at school, even around the concert time as well as other extra activities J We appreciate your support in having your children at school by no later than 8:15 AM so that we can have start them off on their routines with their teachers.

Finally, our annual Creeker Christmas Concert is upon us! We are looking forward to performing for all our families and friends this coming Thursday at either 9 am or 12 pm!

Donations will be gratefully accepted at the door for the CBC Feed a Family Campaign!

Angel Tree Items – Thank you for your support with our Creekers Helping Creekers Angel Tree donations. These are due by this Thursday. Thank you!

12:40 bell for all back on – After discussions with our teachers, we are going back to the 12:40 bell for all students to come in at lunch.  As we had one class move to the portable, this has freed up bathroom time for washing hands etc. The little ones are also getting in and out faster thanks to the help of some of our student leaders . We will continue to ensure that students have enough time to eat lunch in a relaxed manner.

Sand on playground -  Due to icy conditions on the playground, a thorough dusting of sand has recently been applied. Hopefully this will make the playground much safer for students until we get some more snow.

Tues, Dec 11^th – Grade 3 FI to the Art Gallery ( 9:30 – 11:30 am)

Wed Dec 12 – Dress rehearsal for concert 8:30 am – we need all students on time, please!  (Staff & Students only) / funds due for Grade 3-5 turkey dinner

Thursday December 13^th – No Fluoride/  Garden Creek Christmas Concert  at 9 am and 12 pm   …storm date on the 14^th /Angel tree items to be in

Mon Dec 17-   Art Richard Christmas Concert  10:45 am

Thurs. Dec 20 -  3-5 Choir singing at Shannex 10:30 – 11:30 am / Last day for milk

Friday Dec 21 – last day of classes before the holidays  - full day

TUES Jan 8^th – First day back for students  ( teachers have professional learning on the Monday) / Milk starts

Tues Jan 15^th – Earth Rangers presenting today from 1-2 pm / Home and School Meeting 6:30 pm

Wed Jan 16^th – NBA 2Ball at our school for specified Grade 3-5 students in the afternoon

Tues Jan 22 – PSSC meeting 6:30 pm

Mon Jan 28^th – NO SCHOOL – Professional Learning day

Wed Jan 30^th – District  2 Ball for specific students in the afternoon
