Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
This
coming week is Safe Schools Week. We already successfully performed our school
evacuation last week, so this coming week, we will be working on other drills
such as the lockdown, blocked exit drill, playground emergency drill and bus
safety. (Attachment sent in our previous
memo). We are also attaching information related to bus safety.

Eradicate Polio! - Tuesday is our last day to accept
donations for our Pinkies for Polio campaign All
profits go to the vaccines that will be used in third world countries to help
stop the spread of Polio. Help us stamp out polio in 2019! We will
be having an assembly this Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
Movie Night at the Creek next Friday!
– Next Friday, October 25th is Movie Night at the Creek. Come and
see Toy Story 4! Doors open at 6:15 and movie starts at 6:30. Students are
encouraged to bring their own water bottles and something to sit on.
CREEKERS CHANGE THE WORLD TRICK OR EAT! Starting
mid week, we will be accepting food donations for the Community Kitchen.
We will be sending more information around what we will be asking of specific
classes. This has always been a wonderful way for students to contribute to the
wellness of those in our greater Fredericton community and also demonstrates Global
Citizenship
