Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
As
we continue with learning into week 9, I would like to thank you for your
donations to our Purple Pinkies for Polio Campaign. Creekers
Help the World! We are also now into assessment period for
achievement reports although we are working with staff on ensuring you are
aware of your child’s progress on a more continuous time frame and not just at
Achievement Report time. This may have come to your attention through either
See Saw, Weekly folders going home or interim checklists.
SAFETY REMINDER – we are noticing some cars parking
on both sides of Golf Club Road at drop off or pick up . This is a safety
issue as busses have a difficult time getting around and drivers cannot always
see parents or students. Please park on a side street or on the right hand side
going up the hill where the road has been widened. As well for those doing the
drive-through drop off, please make sure mittens have been put on and coats
zipped before getting to the front of the line.
MOVIE
NIGHT AT THE CREEK TONIGHT! –
Tonight is our first Movie Night at the Creek. Come and see Toy
Story 4! Doors open at 6:15 and movie starts at 6:30. Students are
encouraged to bring their own water bottles and something to sit on. Parents
must attend with their children and attendance is by donation. This donation
helps to pay for our movie license.
CREEKERS CHANGE THE WORLD TRICK OR EAT! The food
donations for the Community Kitchen are starting to come in! Thank
you! We will continue accepting donations until this coming Wednesday. Creekers Helping the Community!
CREEKER CHRISTMAS BAZAAR – Bazaar
planning is in full swing! If you do not have time to shop for theme basket,
Santa’s workshop items and the like, you could always make a donation instead
and the little elves working for the Bazaar will purchase the items! See www.schoolcashonline.com and you
will see where you can donate and all funds will be used to make our Bazaar
great! We so appreciate your support as we fundraise for our playground!
