Dear Garden Creek Families,

As we wrap-up our 2021-2022 academic school year, I want to express my gratitude to all families for their
ongoing support during such a unique school year. Truly, this
was a year like no other in the Education system. Through it all, Creeker
families have remained positive, flexible, understanding, and demonstrated
trust in our staff. Here are a few final items to be aware of:

Pre-Kindergarten families can expect communication from
the school in the coming days regarding the staggered Kindergarten start-up dates and times for
September. Stay tuned.
Families interested in providing learning opportunities
for their children over the summer are encouraged
to check out the virtual Learning links that administration put together.
Families can access these here. GC Learning Links - K-5.pdf
An email from our school district was sent to families
on Wednesday evening. This includes an array of summer camps in the Fredericton area.
All information can be accessed on the ASD-W website http://web1.nbed.nb.ca/sites/asd-w/Pages/default.aspx
That being said, we encourage all Creekers to get
outside and remain active over the summer months as much as possible. Regardless of the efforts families make to encourage
academics over the summer, their child’s academic levels of
proficiency will be assessed in the fall and our teachers will do
everything they can to challenge them accordingly.
If you have not done so yet, be sure to check out the final installment of the Garden Creek News Team
on the left side of this website.

I would like to end our final Creeker Memo with this: Having had the
opportunity to work closely with our staff this year, I can tell you that the professionals in this building care deeply about your
children’s success! A student's success is measured beyond just academics and
we here at the Creek believe firmly in the work we have done, and will continue
to do, in supporting your child's progress. I am looking
forward to working with these amazingly dedicated and talented professionals
yet again in 2022-2023. I can assure you that your children are in great hands.

On behalf of the entire Creeker staff, have a safe and happy summer!
