Homeroom: November Nonsense Sheets due; contributions for Nepal being accepted until Tuesday, November 6th

SCHUM (6C,D,F,H) & Social Studies (6I):

Red folders:

1) All project evaluations have either gone home in the red folder, or will be by tomorrow. Some students had late items to finish and one class (6I) has just been completed.

2) News Item Sheet - 6 students per week will be presenting news items from different continents.  I ask that they try to focus on positive stories, discoveries, etc, whenever possible so we are not overwhelmed by the disturbing events in the world. They are allowed to cover them, but please keep in mind the audience and sensitivities with these reports.

3) Heritage Fair Project Sheet - Handout in folder to help quide students.  They will have research time in class with iPads and at our school library. Public library and Archives are recommended for those doing projects which may benefit from these resources, but not required.

Find attached a list of the possible categories for those choosing to do something other than a continuation of the interview and who are seeking a spot at the District Fair.  Interview project can also qualify.
