In order to build vocabulary in French, we will be learning "Words of the Week" this term in PIF. Each week, students will be given a list of words to practice. Words will focus on common vocabulary such as days of the week, months of the year, numbers, colors, etc. Students will be responsible for the correct spelling of each word as well as the meaning (or corresponding word in English). We will practice our words of the week using warm-up activities in class but additional practice at home is recommended. Word lists will be given on Mondays and weekly quizzes will be held the following Monday. This week's word list includes the days of the week in French. I have included a copy of the word list below. Students will have a quiz on these vocabulary words next Monday, January 16th.
