Welcome back to another exciting year at KRS!  Teachers are working around the clock to plan and prepare for the return of our students.
There have been many changes over the summer; from staffing to room changes we are working hard to ensure the best learning experiences possible for our children.  Some of the updates are.... I will remain as Acting Principal.  Chris Roach is our new Vice Principal and grade 3/4 teacher.  Jeff Zatt has taken a temporary leave and therefore Karen Matheson is our new music teacher.  Our middle level has been moved to the portables into 2 separate classrooms with a new middle level teacher, Lindsay Morris.  In K-2 we have gone from 4 to 6 homerooms with one being a French Immersion Grade 1 classroom.  Finally our 3-5 team have all relocated to the bottom floor. Wheeh!! That's a lot of changes but we are excited and eager to get started.  We will have our annual corn boil/Meet the Teacher on Thursday, September 7th at 5:30.  Hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
Tammy Gee

At KRS we pride ourselves on being a part of a whole school community that supports each other.  We are very fortunate to have families and local businesses that contribute by donating both time and money to various needs we have..  It is very important to us that our students and families feel supported and have a sense of belonging at KRS.  Thank you on a daily basis to everyone who is part of our growing family.
