& Demonstration of Learning Week June 14 to 17, 2021




 

The week of June 14 to 17, all students will attend regularly
scheduled classes.

 

Mon. June 14       M-Z students
busses arrive at 4:00pm

 

Tues. June 15       A-L students 
busses arrive at 4:00pm

 

Wed. June 16       M-Z students busses arrive at 4:00pm

 

Thurs.  June 17    A-L students busses
arrive at 4:00pm

 

Fri.  June 18         Marking day & grad class list finalized

 

Cafeteria open & Feed the Lions
operating Monday to Thursday.

 

Textbooks, Library
Books & School Property


It is the student’s
responsibility to return school property to their teachers or the library
including: textbooks, library books, and calculators, etc. If a student has
lost a textbook or library book, they are to pay the replacement cost to the
subject teacher or library. (If you have books from last year, please bring
them in to the main office)


 

Student Absences



 



Assessments are to
be completed in all courses as scheduled. Alternate arrangements occur only at
the discretion of an administrator. Please call (457-6898) to notify of a
school absence and if leaving a message please include the student’s full name
and the name of the person calling.



 





Student Summer
Learning Program 2021

 

The Department of
Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) is offering a free summer
learning program for students entering grade 10, 11 or 12 in the upcoming
school year, or those who will graduate in June 2021. If you are interested in
upgrading a mark or taking an extra course over the summer that will count
toward graduation, please see your Guidance Counsellor for a list of courses
being offered and/or to register.

Registration opens June 1st  Last day to register Jun. 25th


Courses begin June 30th       Last

REPORT CARDS

 

Grade 12’s will receive
their report cards, transcript and diploma on June 23 & 24, 2021 at the
graduation.

 

Grade 9, 10 and 11 will be
mailed the week of June 28, 2021. If your mailing address has changed, please
let the main office know so we can make changes.  

 

 

 

September 7, 2021
is the first day of classes at LHHS –further details will be provided in
August about the start of the school year on our school website.
