A ceremony hosted by Anglophone West School District took
place on June 3, 2017 for 93 employees who are retiring, or have already
retired, at the end of the 2016-17 school year.
"Anglophone West School District has been served well by the
retirees, each of whom has contributed to the education of our youth in their own
way,” said Superintendent David McTimoney. “Congratulations on a wonderful
career and best wishes on your new chapter in life.”
The employees who were honoured included teachers, principals,
vice-principals, educational assistants, administrative assistants, bus
drivers, maintenance personnel, custodians and library workers.
Collectively, the retirees represent more than 2,500 years
of public service.
