Happy Thanksgiving from Grade One. We have been busy during our first month of school and we are now all familiar with the procedures and expectations.
In literacy, we have been working on personal narrative stories and creating lists. In math, we have been making patterns with up to four elements and learning about numbers up to 20. The children are practicing counting by ones and twos to 20. You can reinforce this at home, by practicing it as well.
Our class was responsible for the display at the main entrance of the school. Be sure to check it out as we are all very proud of our scarecrows!
