Austin Mills – Nighthawk of the Month for Citizenship


 

This award is presented in recognition of your citizenship
at Nackawic High School. You are a solid student at NHS who is always around to
be of assistance to anyone who needs it. You recognize when tasks need
completed, and you will sacrifice your own time and energy to save someone else
from having too much to handle. You have an easy-going personality that is
contagious to those around you. You are also a valuable member of the NHS Rugby
Team. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected
Nighthawk of the Month for April, 2019.


 

 
 

Corey Mullin – Nighthawk of the Month Academics
and Dedication

 

This award is presented in recognition of your academics
and dedication at Nackawic High School. You are the picture of initiative and
self-directed learning. For your Music 122 independent study, you needed very
little guidance to plan an entire semester-long course. You take interest in a
wide variety of musical topics and you are always interested in learning more. You
consistently take responsibility for your own learning, are always on task. Your
dedication earned you a spot on the Principal’s Honour Roll for third term. You
have also been an involved citizen of NHS as a member of Reach for the Top and
Cover Bands. Your dedication to academics, responsibility, positive attitude
and many talents are greatly appreciated here at NHS. You are a role model to
all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for April,

Lydia Gorham - Nighthawk of the Month for Academic Achievement and Postivie Role Model


This award is presented in recognition of your academic
achievement and for being a positive role model for other students at Nackawic
High School. You are a pleasure to teach. You always can be counted on to
produce your best work, you always participate in class discussion, you help
others around you, you have a great sense of humour, and you have an excellent
work ethic. You are mature – you set goals and work very hard to achieve them.
You are also a valuable member of the Girls Varsity Soccer, Basketball and
Volleyball teams. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on

Felicia Dunfield – Nighthawk of the Month
for Improvement

 

This award
is presented in recognition of your improvement this year at Nackawic High
School. You have made a 180-degree turnaround this year. The positive changes
in your attendance, participation and effort over the past few months have been
significant. You frequently go out of your way to say hello and to have
conversations with others and you are kind and patient with your peers.  You are a leader in the English classroom,
taking a lead role in the reading of Romeo and Juliet daily. You earned Strong
Achievement on your ELPA, which very few students achieve. You were also a
committed member of the team that brought the Jack Talks presentation to the
school last week. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on
being selected Nighthawk of the Month for April, 2019.


 

Riley Parsons – Nighthawk of the Month
for  Improvement

 

This award
is presented in recognition of your improvement this year at Nackawic High
School. Your improvement in all aspects since your arrival at NHS three years
ago has been remarkable. You now readily take a leadership role in classes,
providing an example to younger students as a relatable mentor. You stand up
for people when they are in need. You help motivate your peers to learn, do
their work and try their best. You are a critical thinker
