MENTAL WELLNESS AND OUR CHILDREN: 3 Ways to Help Your Child Gain Confidence and Face Social Pressures, Bullying and Anxiety.

It’s time for a new approach to mental wellbeing.
Often, mental health is associated with mental illness.
Truth is, everyone would benefit from understanding their mind and strengthening their mental health muscle.
As many of us experienced personally, the transition years from childhood into adolescence can be anxiety-ridden, and filled with bullying and low self-esteem. The patterns and self-beliefs that are formed in middle school (mentally and socially) will carry into children’s lives as adults. We believe that young people need to learn to exercise their mental health muscle, just like they would exercise to reach their physical health goals. And that takes knowledge and practice!
Imagine an athlete, a dancer, or just about any professional making their dreams a reality without a coach.

That’s where we come in.
We are Educators Rebecca Tremblay and Anne Lebans and we believe in educating young people on a more compassionate and empowering view of mental health. Intervention at this critical age, when youth are looking outside of themselves for identity and acceptance, is paramount in order to enhance self-awareness, personal responsibility and a sense of purpose and power over their lives.
Our goal is to shift that difficult time into the most empowering years for your child.
