K-2 Concert again on Friday

Due to the over crowding this morning for the K-2 Christmas Concert, we are going to run another K-2 Concert tomorrow morning at 9:00am for those who were unable to get into the gymnasium or were too far at the back that they couldn't see or hear.  We are so sorry for the over crowding this morning.  We had no idea that there would be as many people show up that did.  We are already considering what changes we can make for next year.  Again we apologize especially to those of you who took time off work this morning to attend and were unable to see.  We also recognize that some of you cannot take time off again tomorrow and again, we apologize.

Shopping Spree- Help needed- time or materials
The Friends of Nashmore Parent Committee is looking for help with the Christmas shopping spree at the school. This event will be held on Tuesday, December 5th (with the possibility of a second day Wednesday, December 6th, if needed). The snow date is Dec 7th. We're looking for volunteers to help wrap gifts, and help the students select their gifts. This is a very busy day and the more volunteers we have, the better. We'll need volunteers from 8:15 am right through until 3 pm. If you are able to volunteer for the day, great! If you are able to help for an hour or two throughout the day, that's helpful as well.

Please let Amy (amy_duguay@hotmail.com) or Raquel (lrbaxter@hotmail.com) know if you can help out.

If you're unable to volunteer your time but are able to help out with a donation, the following items are needed:
  • Tape
  • Ribbon/bows
  • Name tags (sticker type)
  • Small gift bags
  • Tissue paper
  • Christmas cards
Please send in your donations to the office labelled “Shopping Spree” by December 1st.

Thank you everyone for your support of this event! It truly is a pleasure to watch the students pick out gifts for their families!!!
